Qualifications

• Current Illinois Nursing License is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants and plan shift services and activities.
• Provide leadership to nursing staff and prepare written and oral reports on shift activities.
• Administer medications as ordered by physicians.
• Maintain good working rapports with inter-departmental staff to ensure quality care.
• Monitor staff to ensure safety regulations in equipment and supplies.
