• Current Illinois nursing license is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants and plan shift services.
• Make written and oral reports on shift activities and admit/transfer residents as required.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with other departments to ensure nursing services meet resident needs.
• Monitor safety in the use of equipment and supplies by staff.
• Maintain the confidentiality of all resident care information.
