Job summary

Signature HealthCARE in Kinston, NC is seeking a seasoned RN to provide direct nursing care, supervise aides, and coordinate resident care in a team-based environment.

You will document care plans, monitor conditions, ensure safety, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team on admissions, discharges, and quality initiatives, while meeting regulatory requirements. A rewarding role with growth opportunities and values-driven care.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license in the state of practice.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
• Minimum one year of clinical nursing experience; long-term care experience preferred.
• Experience in a supervisory or charge nurse role preferred.
• Knowledge of Federal and State long-term care regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration and wound care.
• Assist residents with ADLs to maintain comfort, dignity, and safety.
• Supervise and direct nursing assistants and medication aides during shifts.
• Monitor residents' status and notify physicians of changes in condition.
• Develop and review individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation per policy.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges per procedures.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and regulatory surveys.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing.
