Job summary

Signature HealthCARE of Kinston is seeking a dedicated LPN/LVN with at least 1 year of clinical nursing experience for a charge nurse role in a 106-bed facility. You will lead nursing staff, administer medications, and support residents with daily activities in a compassionate long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Active LPN/LVN license in the state of practice.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• Minimum one year of clinical nursing experience; long-term care experience preferred.
• Experience in a supervisory or charge nurse role preferred.
• Familiarity with EHR systems and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration and skilled nursing procedures.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) while ensuring comfort, dignity, and safety.
• Supervise and direct nursing assistants and medication aides during the shift.
• Monitor residents’ condition and notify physician of changes.
• Develop, implement, and review individualized resident care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation per facility policy.
