Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing and support staff on assigned shifts and delegate tasks.
• Evaluate staff performance, provide feedback and coaching.
• Oversee assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
• Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary teams to maintain flow.
• Ensure effective communication among physicians, patients and hospital departments.
• Monitor bed assignments and optimize resource utilization.
• Lead rounds and staff education to support professional development.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, infection control, and policies.
• Participate in quality improvement and audits to improve outcomes.
• Respond to emergencies within the unit with leadership and direct care.
