Job summary

Cfg Health System Llc seeks a Charge Nurse to manage a nursing unit during shifts, assign staff, admit/discharge patients and oversee supply inventories.

The role requires 1–2 years of nursing experience, a current BLS certification, and the ability to obtain security clearance. You will lead staff, coordinate with physicians, and participate in quality improvement and policy implementation.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved nursing education program (diploma or ADN).
• 1–2 years of professional nursing experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Subject to initial and ongoing security clearance requirement.

Responsibilities

• Supervise one shift and share 24-hour nursing responsibility.
• Administer the nursing program and delegate tasks to staff nurses.
• Recruit and orient new nursing personnel; participate in training and policy development.
• Maintain and evaluate records; ensure proper inventory and ordering of supplies.
• Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary team; participate in quality improvement.
• Attend meetings and ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols.
