Job summary

CentraState Medical Center in Freehold, NJ, is seeking a Cardiovascular IR Suite Clinical Coordinator (RN) to oversee a range of diagnostic, invasive, and angiographic procedures in the Invasive Cardiology Lab for both inpatient and outpatient populations.

Bachelor’s of Nursing, NJ RN license, and 3+ years invasive cardiology/interventional radiology experience are required, along with BLS and ACLS. Hours are 7a–5p, 4 days a week, with on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's of Nursing Required.
• Current NJ RN License Required.
• 2-3 years of RN leadership experience preferred.
• A minimum of 3-years of invasive cardiology or interventional radiology experience required.
• Current cardiac catheterization experience required or an equivalent combination of relevant education or experience.
• BLS Certification required.
• ACLS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Unit resource for patients, staff, physicians, and vendors.
• Clinical and operational oversight of multimodality Cath Lab.
• Oversight of performance improvement initiatives.
• Drives efficiency of daily operations.
• Directs and facilitates scheduling and procedural flow to optimize patient care and maximize lab resources.
• Recruiting, hiring, retention of team members.
• Fostering relationships with physicians and vendors to achieve mutual goals.
• Ensures patient experience and oversight of staff development.
