Job summary

Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton, MA, is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver patient care within the CardioVascular Suite-Interventional Radiology. You will assess, plan, implement, direct, supervise, and evaluate nursing care for patients in the CVIR setting.

The role requires Massachusetts RN licensure, BLS/ACLS certifications, and sedation experience. Schedule features 30 hours per week with 8-hour shifts, on-site at 30 Locust Street, with floating and on-call as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Registered Nurse (RN) required.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• Requires current experience in moderate sedation.
• Previous interventional radiology experience desired.
• Previous catheterization experience/hemodynamic monitoring/interventional Radiology experience desired.
• Demonstrated excellent technical, interpersonal, organizational, oral, and written communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Coordinate all nursing care for patients based on established clinical standards and collaborate with other disciplines to ensure effective outcomes.
