Job summary

CentraState Healthcare System is seeking a Cardiac Cath/Interventional Radiology RN for our Cardiovascular Interventional Suite in Freehold, NJ. This role supports Cardiac Cath and Interventional Radiology patients with technical nursing procedures and patient care in alignment with ANA standards.

The position includes 24-hour on-call coverage on a rotating basis. Qualifications include an associate degree in nursing, a NJ RN license, and BLS/ACLS certification.

Qualifications

• Two years Cath lab/PCI RN experience required.
• Current NJ RN License required.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Obtains a complete nursing history and baseline assessment.
• Analyzes health status data to determine nursing diagnoses and care needs.
• Identifies patient problems and formulates individualized plans of care with a multidisciplinary team.
• Administers medications per policy and manufacturers’ instructions.
• Provides patient/family education on cardiac risk factors and rehab planning.
• Float between units as needed and provide 1:1 patient observation when required.
