Job summary

TRC, Member of WSP, seeks a PhD Senior Toxicologist to lead the EH&S, Engineering, Construction, and Remediation (ECR) team in Lowell and Boston, MA. You will supervise risk assessors, collaborating with project managers and technical leads on ecological and human health risk assessments, risk-based closure strategies, and sampling plan development.

The role emphasizes mentoring staff, delivering high-quality risk assessment reports, and providing expert input to EPA on federal Superfund sites

Qualifications

• PhD in environmental toxicology required.
• Experience in preparing risk assessment reports and related documents.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the human health and ecological risk assessment team.
• Research toxicological data to support risk assessments.
• Provide risk communication for fact sheets and public meetings.
• Prepare risk assessment reports and perform senior technical reviews.
• Coordinate with EPA on risk-related documents and actions.
• Mentor junior staff in risk assessment practices.
