Job summary

WSP is seeking an Ecological Risk Assessor to work out of multiple offices, including Boston MA, with potential travel. You will support the Federal Environmental Team and contribute to risk assessments across air, water, and soil, aligning with EPA and State regulatory programs.

You will lead and coordinate projects, review technical work, and engage with clients and regulators to scope and apply risk assessments in site decision-making. Travel may be required occasionally.

Qualifications

• B.S./M.S. in Toxicology or Biology.
• 7+ years of ecological risk assessment experience.
• Experience with USEPA CERCLA and regulatory guidance.
• Experience scoping, managing CERCLA stages and QAPPs.
• Strong communication with clients and regulators.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise technical assignments and manage projects.
• Lead ecological risk assessments and author proposals.
• Interact with clients and regulators to scope assessments and apply results.
• Provide technical review to ensure regulatory compliance and company standards.
• Occasional travel for projects, conferences, or business development.
