Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a capable Cashier/Stocker lead to operate in a Florida store. You will greet customers, manage stock, assist in plan-o-gram execution, and step in for leadership in the Store Manager’s absence. Provide exemplary customer service while protecting assets and maximizing profitability.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking, cashier duties, and ensuring a clean, well-organized store. Prior supervisory exposure is preferred and strong math skills are required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to follow plan-o-grams and merchandising guidance.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks following store procedures.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons and totes.
• Stock, rotate and face merchandise on shelves.
• Restock returned and recovered merchandise.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise.
• Operate cash register and bag merchandise.
• Collect payment and give change.
• Maintain clean front end and store areas.
