POSITION SUMMARY:

The Lead Consultant is knowledgeable in all areas of the Store’s business, including print, signs & graphics, and shipping, and consistently delivers a positive customer experience. Responsibilities include taking customer orders, coordinating store activities, providing pricing information, recommending products and services, producing complex orders, operating equipment, managing production processes, and providing leadership and support to colleagues. The role requires consultative skills, problem-solving, and may involve guiding team members and resolving escalated customer issues.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver friendly, expert customer service through consultative behaviors
  • Manage production flow to ensure timely and accurate completion of orders
  • Take customer orders, provide pricing, and recommend products/services
  • Lead digital imaging tasks, including scheduling and managing large jobs
  • Set up and process complex orders, multitask effectively
  • Ensure quality throughout and after production
  • Maintain communication across shifts
  • Coordinate order pick-up and delivery
  • Provide leadership to team members on shift
  • Assist in training store staff
  • Organize customer orders
  • Operate POS terminal, handle transactions, and perform financial paperwork
  • Follow operational, safety, HR, and security policies
  • Coordinate shipping services, advise customers on shipping options, and maintain supplies
  • Perform other duties as required

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of specialized experience
  • Excellent communication skills

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Stand for entire shift, excluding breaks
  • Lift up to 55 pounds
  • Perform bending/twisting movements regularly
  • Communicate effectively with customers and team members
  • Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment under pressure
  • Maintain focus and attention for extended periods
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Report regularly to work and adhere to business hours
