Position Summary

The Lead Consultant is knowledgeable in all areas of the Store’s business, including print, signs & graphics, and shipping, and consistently delivers a positive customer experience. Responsibilities include taking customer orders, coordinating store activities, providing pricing information, recommending products and services, producing complex orders, operating advanced equipment, and managing production processes. The Lead Consultant uses consultative skills to anticipate needs, suggest solutions, and may lead and train team members and resolve escalated customer issues.

General Duties and Responsibilities
  • Deliver friendly, expert customer service through consultative behaviors.
  • Manage production flow to ensure orders are completed correctly and on time.
  • Take customer orders, provide pricing, and recommend FedEx Office products and services.
  • Lead digital imaging, scheduling, and production of full-service orders, including finishing services.
  • Set up complex orders and multitask efficiently.
  • Ensure quality during and after production.
  • Coordinate communication among shifts and manage order pickups/deliveries.
  • Provide leadership and training to team members.
  • Operate POS terminals, handle transactions, and complete financial paperwork.
  • Assist with shipping services, including determining shipping methods, packaging, and maintaining inventory.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of specialized experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Essential Functions
  • Stand during shifts, lift up to 55 pounds, and perform physical activities such as bending and twisting.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain regular attendance and support business hours.
