Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Central East Texas, Inc. in Nacogdoches, TX is hiring a Lead Retail Associate. This full-time role focuses on leading by example, ensuring a friendly, organized environment, and meeting sales goals with the Store Manager.

You will train and motivate Retail Associates, assist with merchandising and displays, operate the register, and help maintain a clean, safe, stocked store. Join a team that celebrates you and makes a real difference in the community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 6 months of retail or customer service experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Positive attitude and love for teamwork.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and stay active during your shift.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to create a friendly, organized, and mission-focused environment.
• Support Store Manager in meeting sales goals and store projects.
• Train, coach, and motivate Retail Associates.
• Help with merchandising, rotation pulls, and creating eye-catching displays.
• Operate the register, handle cash, and assist customers with purchases and questions.
• Ensure the store stays clean, safe, and well-stocked.
• Help detect and prevent loss, while maintaining a positive atmosphere for all.
