Job summary

Goodwill of Central East Texas is seeking a Lead Retail Associate in Nacogdoches, TX. You will lead by example, keep the store organized, and motivate the team to meet sales goals while delivering friendly service to customers and donors.

This full-time role offers weekly pay, a quarterly bonus potential up to $1,000, and opportunities for training and career growth. You’ll help with merchandising, training staff, handling transactions, and keeping the store safe, clean, and inviting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months of retail or customer service experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• A positive attitude and love for teamwork.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs and stay active throughout your shift.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to create a friendly, organized, and mission-focused environment
• Support your Store Manager in meeting sales goals and completing store projects
• Train, coach, and motivate Retail Associates
• Help with merchandising, rotation pulls, and creating eye-catching displays
• Operate the register, handle cash, and assist customers with purchases and questions
• Ensure the store stays clean, safe, and well-stocked
• Help detect and prevent loss, while maintaining a positive atmosphere for all
