Job summary

BluSky Restoration Contractors is seeking a Construction Restoration Superintendent in the United States (California region) to oversee restoration, reconstruction, and capital improvement projects from start to finish. You will manage vendor selection, procurement, scheduling, budgeting, and ensure customer satisfaction through strong communication with occupants and owners.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years residential and commercial construction, general contracting and/or restoration experience preferred.
• 3+ years project management experience preferred.
• Must be able to travel in response to emergencies and non-emergency losses nationwide.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal/external contacts throughout the project management process.

Responsibilities

• Follows scope and notifies Project Director of discrepancies.
• Ensures all work is contracted/subcontracted.
• Obtains building permits as required and follows government guidelines for each permit and project.
• Adheres to OSHA and environmental regulations.
• Assists with change order amounts when requested.
• Manages subcontractors to verify adequate resources to meet contract requirements.
• Secures project resources cost-effectively and ensures on-site at the right time.
• Ensures project work meets high workmanship standards.
• Directly supervises BluSky personnel on projects as required.
• Adheres to company Best Practices and provides high-level customer service.
• All other duties or projects as assigned.
