Job summary

ServiceMaster Restore® in Minnesota is seeking an experienced Lead Restoration & Mitigation Technician who can manage water damage restoration, fire and smoke mitigation, and related remediation projects. You will direct daily jobsite operations for technicians and subcontractors, ensuring work meets IICRC standards.

You will perform moisture inspections, determine drying strategies, set up equipment, and document progress with restoration software.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership or crew lead experience.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Availability for emergency response and on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Lead water damage restoration and fire/smoke mitigation projects.
• Direct daily jobsite operations for technicians and subcontractors.
• Perform and verify moisture inspections, moisture mapping, and psychrometric calculations.
• Determine drying, cleaning, containment, and deodorization strategies in coordination with Project Management.
• Set up, monitor, and adjust drying, filtration, and air scrubber equipment.
• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure compliance with IICRC standards and company SOPs.
• Document moisture readings, equipment placement, job progress, and photos using restoration software.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

• Incumbent must be prepared to:
• Move up to 70 pounds often, by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise repositioning objects.
• Must be able to wear respirator and safety gear when job conditions warrant.
