Job summary

Conservation Corps of Long Beach seeks a Crew Supervisor I to guide a crew of 2–14 young adults in restoration and landscape projects. You will supervise daily activities, teach proper tool use, and ensure safety, quality, and timely completion of tasks.

The ideal candidate has supervisory experience, strong PPE knowledge, and the ability to mentor participants in environmental stewardship and career skills within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience, preferably with training/mentoring young adults or entry‑level workers.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols and PPE use on construction sites.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Guide and train a crew of 2–14 young adults in restoration and landscape tasks.
• Ensure project goals are met with safety and quality controls.
• Provide hands-on instruction in tool use, maintenance, and safety.
