Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a Respiratory Care Coordinator to manage pulmonary function testing, rehabilitation, and educational activities. You will lead clinical initiatives, work with an interdisciplinary team, and ensure high-quality patient care across care settings.

Qualifications include an associate degree in Respiratory Care, PFT experience, and Wisconsin RCP license. Strong communication, leadership, and educator experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved Respiratory Care Program with associate degree.
• One-year Pulmonary Function Testing experience.
• Two year’s inpatient Respiratory Care experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Strong written and verbal skills.
• Experience as an educator (coordinator of in-service, class, new equipment).
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinator of pulmonary function lab, pulmonary rehabilitation, education for department, LM system, and student rotations.
• Promotes continuous improvement as expert practitioner, educator, consultant, and researcher.
• Provides clinical leadership through advanced practice role modeling and professional communication.
• Functions as part of an interdisciplinary team coordinating continuity of care.
• Provides direct and indirect patient care across the continuum of care.
• Communicates with physicians about patient’s clinical condition, results of diagnostic studies and symptoms.
