Job summary

Adventist Health Glendale is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide comprehensive respiratory care for adults and geriatric patients. You will perform therapies, manage ventilated patients, document care, and assist in training staff.

Requirements include CA RCP licensure or NBRC credentials, Bachelors degree or equivalent, with Masters preferred and several years of experience. ACLS/PALS are required in department policy; EHR documentation is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent; Master’s preferred.
• Three years’ technical experience preferred.
• Licensed in CA as Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) or NBRC credentials required/eligible.

Responsibilities

• Assess and document prescribed therapy and adjust as needed.
• Administer aerosol and oxygen therapy; monitor and document patient progress.
• Perform arterial blood gases and care for ventilated patients.
• Assist in training and supervising new staff; maintain accurate records.
