Responsibilities

• Assesses and documents the appropriateness of prescribed therapy for patients receiving respiratory care services.
• Administers aerosol and oxygen therapy and maintains charts; draws arterial blood gases per policy.
• Provides care to ventilator patients and contributes to department record keeping and staff supervision.
