Qualifications

• Current State Respiratory Care Practitioner license required.
• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from NBRC or obtained within three months of hire.
• BLS certification required at hire and maintain current.
• ACLS certification required at hire and maintain current.
• PALS certification required at hire and maintain current or obtained within 60 days of hire.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification preferred.
• Associate degree or BS in Respiratory Care preferred.
• Two years of acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered.
• Focus on assessment, planning, implementation and documentation of patient care.
• Consider age and population-specific needs during care.
• May serve as Lead RCP and oversee the section during a shift.
