Landmark Medical Center is actively seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner II to support its per diem team. The role emphasizes performing respiratory therapies and diagnostic procedures under physician orders, with emphasis on assessment, planning, implementation, and documentation tailored to patient needs.

The position may include lead responsibilities during a shift, overseeing the section as needed, and requires current licensure and certifications.

Qualifications

• Current State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required.
• Current NBRC RRT certification required or obtained within 3 months of hire.
• BLS certification from AHA/ARC required at hire and maintained.
• ACLS from AHA/ARC required at hire and maintained.
• PALS certification required at hire and maintained or obtained within 60 days of hire.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification preferred.
• Associate Degree or BS degree preferred.
• Two years of acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by the provider.
• Focus on assessment, planning, implementation, and documentation of care with patient population considerations.
• May be identified as Lead RCP, with responsibility for the section or department during the shift.
