Job summary

• Possesses and Maintains an active RRT credential.
• Current ACLS and BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of pulmonary aspects within therapist scope and licensure.
• Administers respiratory therapy treatments and related devices; understands purpose and side effects.
• Assess patient pain interfering with function and coordinate nursing interventions.
• Follow infection control and equipment sterilization procedures.
• Document all pertinent data in patient records after pulmonary program components.
• Formulates care plans based on learning needs and includes patient family in teaching.
• Oversee daily shift operations, assign work, troubleshoot, and liaise with nursing and physicians.
