Job summary

MUSC Health Florence Medical Center is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join a dedicated respiratory care team. You will administer therapies, monitor patients, and collaborate with physicians to implement treatment plans for pulmonary conditions.

Applicants should have an approved respiratory therapy program diploma or AAS, be licensed to practice in South Carolina, and hold current BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. New grads welcome; shift options include nights and days.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Approved Respiratory Therapy Program with a Diploma or AAS Degree.
• Licensed by the Board of Medicine to practice in the state of South Carolina (SC).
• Current BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications (NRP).

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapies and diagnostic tests as prescribed.
• Transcribe and implement physician orders for respiratory care.
• Assess, monitor, and respond to patient signs and oxygenation levels.
• Collaborate with other care teams to ensure effective patient outcomes.
• Provide emergency response when required.
