Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Approved Respiratory Therapy Program with a Diploma or AAS Degree.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• Licensed by the Board of Medicine to practice in South Carolina.
• Current BLS/ACLS/PALS certification.
• NRP certification.

Responsibilities

• Administer pharmacological, diagnostic, and therapeutic respiratory care as prescribed.
• Transcribe and implement physician orders for respiratory care.
• Assess, observe and monitor patient responses to therapies and diagnostics.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery.
• Oversee respiratory therapy technicians and supervise procedures.
• Perform sputum, blood, and breath specimen analysis and measure lung function.
