Job summary

Mercy is seeking a supervisor to oversee the Respiratory and Imaging GIG workforces, ensuring care is delivered safely and in line with Mercy policies and standards. The role plans, implements and evaluates operations, technique and technology to support high-quality patient care.

You will develop staff, foster adherence to hospital policy, and collaborate with the healthcare team as a clinical resource for coworkers, patients and visitors.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an Accredited College Program in Respiratory Care.
• Current license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) in state of practice.
• Five or more years of experience.
• RRT registered by NBRC; BLS may be obtained on hire; RRT can be substituted with 10 years leadership and CRT NBRC.
• Strong interpersonal skills and conflict resolution; critical thinking; adaptable to clinical plans.
• Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Care or related field preferred.
• One year of leadership experience preferred.
• ACLS/NRP/PALS/ACCS/NPS certifications may be required or obtained.
