Job summary

Live Well Homecare seeks an experienced Respiratory Care Manager to lead the daily management and supervision of the respiratory care staff, both clinically and administratively.

The role covers patient assessments, ventilator management, and other respiratory therapies while organizing staff, supplies, and equipment, with emphasis on policy adherence, infection control, and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Requires a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential and RCP license.
• BLS certification is mandatory; NRP, ACLS, PALS, and PEARS preferred.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred, with leadership experience.
• Strong organizational, clinical, and supervisory skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Performs patient assessments, ventilator management, diagnostic evaluations, and other respiratory therapies. Acts as an expert clinician, providing guidance and resources to the healthcare team. Organizes department functions, including staffing, supply management, and equipment maintenance. Ensures adherence to policies, infection control, and quality standards. Assists in emergency resuscitations and monitors patient care outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills:

Requires a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential and RCP license. BLS certification is mandatory; NRP, ACLS, PALS, and PEARS are preferred. Preferably holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree, with additional experience in PICC, Peds, or NICU, and leadership roles. Must demonstrate strong organizational, clinical, and supervisory skills.

Additional Duties:

Orientation and training of new staff, performance improvement activities, and ensuring departmental compliance with standards. Maintains supplies, equipment, and documentation to support optimal patient care.
