Job summary

Massachusetts Health & Hospital Association is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for acute care responsibilities, including assessments, care planning, treatment implementation, and thorough documentation. The role may assume Lead RCP duties during shifts to support departmental operations.

Job description

Role:

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) responsible for providing respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures in an acute care setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform assessments, develop care plans, implement treatments, and document patient care tailored to age and population needs. May serve as Lead RCP, overseeing departmental functions during shifts.
Qualifications:
  • Current State RCP license
  • NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist certification (or within 3 months)
  • current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program certifications
  • An associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred, with two years of acute care experience advantageous.
