Job summary

Waste Pro USA Inc. is seeking a Lead Driver to operate refuse collection trucks on pre-assigned routes, supervise helpers and drivers, and assist on routes as needed. You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensure safe operation, and deliver quality service to residents and businesses.

Responsibilities include route planning, vehicle maintenance coordination, and timely reporting. CDL is required, with the ability to work flexible schedules including weekends.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent with 3–5 years in transportation, logistics or waste; or an Associate's degree with 2 years in related fields.
• Knowledge of Smith System and/or Decision Driving principles and techniques.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely drives truck on pre-established routes and adheres to established driving principles.
• Collects and dumps garbage and recyclables along designated routes.
• Provides courteous, expeditious customer service to the public and customers.
• Performs daily pre- and post-trip inspections and completes DVIR per company guidelines.
• Maintains and cleans truck; assists on routes and with routine tasks as assigned.
• Prepares and submits required reports and documents.
• Supports other routes and participates in community events as needed.
