Volunteer Behavioral Health in Tennessee is seeking a resident worker to support group home residents with daily living activities, transportation, and life skills.

Responsibilities include supervising meals and household duties, coordinating activities, ensuring medications are available and records kept, and providing access to social and community resources. A valid driver’s license with appropriate endorsements and CPR/First Aid certification are required.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in mental health or as a resident worker preferred.
• Valid driver’s license (TN with F endorsement); GA license required for Georgia residents.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Transport residents to programs and activities as assigned.
• Ensure prescribed medications are available and maintain records.
• Supervise meals, cleaning and household duties.
• Supervise activities of daily living for residents.
• Provide or arrange social, recreational, religious activities.
• Assist with housing, financial aid, employment, medical or legal needs.
• Maintain residence per manager direction and licensing.
• Ensure life safety for all residents.
• Enforce all house rules.
• Notify manager and relatives in emergencies; rotate on-call duties.
