Job summary

Swank Builders, Inc. in Flint, MI seeks a Construction Project Manager/Superintendent to lead residential remodeling projects on-site from pre-construction through final walk-through.

This hands-on role coordinates clients, trade partners, vendors, and our internal team to deliver high-quality results. You will manage schedules and budgets, enforce safety, review blueprints, and use Buildertrend to track RFIs, changes, photos, and updates.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management in residential construction or remodeling.
• Experience reading blueprints and specifications.
• Proven ability to manage multiple remodeling projects on schedule and budget.
• Proficiency with Buildertrend or similar construction management software.

Responsibilities

• Lead remodeling projects from planning through punch list and completion, on time and within budget.
• Coordinate daily activities with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Build and maintain realistic project schedules and adjust plans to keep jobs moving.
• Conduct regular site visits, enforce safety standards, and resolve field issues.
• Use Buildertrend to manage RFIs, change orders, logs, photos, and client updates.
• Ensure compliance with Michigan building codes, inspections, and permitting.
• Identify risks and coordination gaps and implement solutions to minimize rework and change orders.
• Maintain clear, professional communication with homeowners about project status.
