Job summary

Centre For Neuro Skills is seeking a Residential Shift Supervisor - Patient Care in Irving, TX to oversee Neuro Rehabilitation Specialists in delivering patient treatment programs. The role requires flexibility across mornings, afternoons, evenings, overnights, and weekends at residential sites, clinics, or in the community.

The ideal candidate has experience supervising NRS staff, maintains current patient program knowledge, and ensures safety for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Educational Background: High school graduation or G.E.D. required. Must be at least 18 years of age. Clear driving record. Completion of CNS Learn to Earn program preferred.
• Work Experience: Demonstrated knowledge and skill in the performance of NRS duties required. Experience with administrative and supervisory competence is required. Must have completed introductory period. Completion of CNS Learn to Earn program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts rounds of patient houses to monitor, assist, offer advice, and handle questions about patient programs or behavior.
• Reviews and remains current on all patient programs and progress.
• Prepares and presents NRS performance evaluations.
• Performs apartment receptionist duties as needed and covers NRS duties when staffing dictates.
• Generates janitorial, maintenance or safety requests and periodically inventories apartment contents.
• Transports patients using company vehicle as needed.
• Collaborates with CNS Residential Treatment Coordinators on patient programs.
• Ensures safety of patients, visitors, staff and self during behavioral outbursts.
• Performs toilet and chair transfers for patients up to 150 pounds.
