Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 3–4 years of experience in commercial or multi-unit property.
• EPA/HVAC certification is required or preferred depending on property needs.
• Valid driver’s license is preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Supervises maintenance, grounds keeping, custodial, and related staff.
• Hires, trains, schedules, disciplines, and appraises staff performance.
• Oversees repair and maintenance of mechanical equipment including HVAC.
• Performs carpentry duties like door installation and repairs.
• Performs routine electrical duties including lighting and wiring checks.
• Performs plumbing tasks such as unclogging and pipe repairs.
• Interface with contractors and vendors; bids and negotiations as needed.
• Performs or assigns preventative maintenance tasks.
