Job summary

Innovative Home Renovations (IHR) is seeking an experienced Lead Residential Interior Designer in the Northeast Seattle area. You will own the design direction and guide the client experience from concept through construction.

You will lead conversations with homeowners, develop cohesive design concepts, present options, and coordinate with the project team to translate design intent into buildable plans and details.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional interior design experience, preferably in residential remodeling or design-build environments.
• Ability to lead projects from concept through completion with strong client-facing communication.
• Proficiency with design software (Chief Architect required; AutoCAD/SketchUp/Revit a plus).
• Portfolio demonstrating high-end residential interior design work.

Responsibilities

• Lead residential remodeling projects from concept through completion.
• Develop floor plans, elevations, cabinetry, millwork, and lighting documentation.
• Manage client meetings, design presentations, and selections.
• Collaborate with drafters, project coordinators, site leadership, and trade partners.
