Job summary

SEA Construction Employer in San Mateo, CA seeks an experienced Interior Designer who blends design aesthetics with client-facing sales. You will lead consultations, present concepts with authority, and guide clients through transforming spaces into signature high-end remodels.

Responsibilities include space planning, finish selections, cabinetry layout, and coordinating with PMs to meet budget and timelines. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Chief Architect, Revit, and SketchUp is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years interior design experience in design-build, high-end residential or custom home environments.
• Proven ability to close design services and communicate project scope/value to clients.
• Strong space planning, finish selection, and construction detailing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead initial client consultations, articulate design visions, and guide contracts for high-end residential projects.
• Space planning, material/finish selection, cabinetry layout, lighting design, and detail specification.
• Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and site supervisors to align design with budget, feasibility, and timelines.
• Act as the primary client contact from concept to completion, managing expectations and selections.
• Source fixtures, tile, stone, cabinetry and soft goods from Bay Area vendors.
