Job summary

Innovative Home Renovations in Seattle, WA, is seeking a Residential Interior Designer to lead design phases of remodeling projects, from concept to buildable documentation.

You will partner with homeowners, the project coordinator, drafters, site superintendent, suppliers, and trades to translate design intent into construction information; on-site in NE Seattle. Strong design sense and collaboration are essential; experience with Chief Architect or AutoCAD is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience as a professional interior designer in residential remodeling or related environment.
• Ability to create thoughtful, beautiful spaces responsive to client lifestyle and goals.
• Strong client communication and collaboration with design-build teams.

Responsibilities

• Understand homeowners' goals and study existing architecture and constraints.
• Develop space plans, elevations, finishes, renderings, and documentation for construction.
• Lead design presentations and guide client decisions with clarity and empathy.
• Coordinate with project team to ensure design intent is translated accurately.
• Refine designs based on feedback, conditions, and trade considerations.
