Job summary

Lifetime Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electric in Snohomish, WA is seeking an experienced Lead HVAC Service Tech who leads diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on residential gas furnaces, heat pumps, and AC units.

You will mentor junior technicians, educate customers on repairs and upgrades, document work with a tablet, and ensure safe operations. A WA EPA certification and a clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• Residential HVAC service experience.
• EPA Certification required.
• Valid Washington driver’s license with a clear record.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Positive attitude, professionalism, and pride in your work.

Responsibilities

• Run diagnostics and complete repairs on residential gas furnaces, electric furnaces, heat pumps, AC units, and ductwork.
• Perform routine maintenance and educate customers on repairs, upgrades, and maintenance agreements.
• Use an iPad to create customer invoices and communicate with the office.
• Travel to job sites within the service area and coordinate with dispatch to maintain schedules.
• Maintain stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the company vehicle.
• Document all installed equipment upon arrival with details (make, model, serial number, fuel type, measurements, photos).
• Diagnose diverse service issues, obtain and replace parts, and calibrate systems to manufacturers’ recommendations.
