Bayonet Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning, a leading IES company, seeks a Residential HVAC Estimator to lead estimating operations for production and custom residential projects. This in-office, full-time role collaborates with operations, purchasing, and leadership to protect margins.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in residential HVAC estimating, strong knowledge of HVAC systems and load calculations, and advanced Excel skills with experience in estimating software.

Competenze

• 7+ years of residential HVAC estimating experience, production builder experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, duct design, equipment selection, and load calculations.
• Proven experience supporting high-volume builder environments.
• Advanced Excel skills; estimating software experience required.

Mansioni

• Lead HVAC estimating for production and custom residential projects
• Establish standardized estimating processes, templates, and pricing models
• Review bids for scope accuracy, code compliance, and profitability
• Support branch teams in meeting builder bid deadlines
• Coordinate and review HVAC load calculations and system designs
• Analyze labor, material, and overhead assumptions to protect margin
• Mentor and support estimating staff across branches
• Serve as a technical and pricing resource to operations and leadership
• Assist with strategic pricing, value engineering, and builder negotiations
