Job summary

The Arc of San Diego is seeking a Residential Lead to guide a team caring for residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting. You will assist with daily living activities, teach new skills, and supervise staff to promote independence.

Location is Santee. Pay ranges from $21.00 to $21.65 per hour with Sun-Thu 12p-8p shifts. Leadership, safety, and strong communication are essential, with bilingual ability a plus.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Licensed LVN or Psychiatric Technician is eligible.
Alternative pathway: 30 college units plus 6 months direct support work.
Or 18 months direct services experience under supervision.

Responsibilities

Support residents with daily living activities and personal care.
Lead engaging activities to promote independence and socialization.
Administer medications when needed.
Train and support residential staff.
Ensure safety, compliance and accurate documentation.
