Job summary

IES Residential is seeking a Multifamily Residential Electrical Foreman to lead on-site electrical operations in Charlotte, NC. You will supervise electricians, manage projects, and ensure safety, quality, and NEC code compliance on active multifamily sites.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of supervisory experience in multifamily electrical work, strong NEC knowledge, and proven project management skills. A valid driver’s license is required; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus for site

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of supervisory experience in multifamily residential electrical.
• Strong knowledge of NEC codes and residential electrical systems.
• Proven leadership and project management skills.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently; bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of residential electricians.
• Plan and manage multifamily electrical projects from start to finish.
• Coordinate scheduling, manpower, materials, and project budgets.
• Ensure all work meets NEC codes, quality standards, and regulations.
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients and site personnel.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical issues and provide technical guidance.
• Enforce OSHA safety standards and conduct regular safety meetings.
• Manage tools, equipment, and material inventory.
• Maintain project documentation including permits, inspections, and work orders.
• Identify training needs and support team development.
