Job summary

IES in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced Residential Electrical Foreman to lead multifamily electrical operations. This is an immediate opening for a motivated supervisor who can manage field teams, oversee projects, and ensure high-quality workmanship and safety compliance.

As Multifamily Residential Foreman, you will oversee day-to-day electrical operations, lead electricians in the field, manage project timelines, and ensure NEC code compliance and safe practices on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of supervisory experience in multifamily residential electrical.
• Strong knowledge of NEC codes and residential electrical systems.
• Proven leadership and project management skills.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of residential electricians
• Plan and manage multifamily electrical projects from start to finish
• Coordinate scheduling, manpower, materials, and project budgets
• Ensure all work meets NEC codes, quality standards, and regulations
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients and site personnel
• Troubleshoot complex electrical issues and provide technical guidance
• Enforce OSHA safety standards and conduct regular safety meetings
• Manage tools, equipment, and material inventory
• Maintain project documentation including permits, inspections, and work orders
• Identify training needs and support team development
