Job summary

Prairie Exteriors & Painting is seeking a Residential Superintendent to oversee the construction of residential buildings with a full-time schedule (Monday–Friday; Saturdays as needed). The role emphasizes on-site supervision, scheduling, safety, and customer interaction.

The position requires overseeing all phases of residential construction, coordinating subcontractors and materials, and maintaining safety and quality standards while ensuring projects stay on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential construction trades.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple job sites simultaneously and resolve issues effectively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of residential construction projects.
• Ensure work is on schedule and within budget.
• Maintain daily log and keep job sites clean and organized.
• Monitor subcontractors to ensure scope compliance.
• Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, materials, and equipment.
• Verify material lead times and ensure timely delivery.
• Schedule inspections with local jurisdictions.
• Enforce safety policies and conduct weekly safety walks.
• Assist with customer walk-throughs and maintain relationships.
• Perform duties outside primary scope as needed.
