Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Lynnfield, MA is seeking an Activities & Volunteer Coordinator to lead resident engagement and volunteer services, coordinating concierge operations and customer experience programs to create connection, purpose, and well-being for residents and families.

You will plan and evaluate programs, supervise volunteers, partner with Sales and Resident Care on move-ins, and ensure safety and Sunrise quality standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years leadership/supervisory experience in senior living, hospitality, recreation, or volunteer management.
• Strong organizational, communication, and event-planning skills.
• Experience with volunteer/engagement technology and reporting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate resident-centered engagement programs and events.
• Oversee activities, entertainment, and wellness programming across all neighborhoods, including memory care.
• Supervise team members, volunteers, and concierge staff.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and retain volunteers; build community partnerships.
• Track participation, satisfaction, and engagement metrics to improve programming.
• Manage engagement documentation, calendars, reporting, and technology platforms.
• Lead concierge operations, delivering exceptional experiences for residents, families, and visitors.
• Support budgeting, staffing, scheduling, and operational planning.
• Partner with Sales and Resident Care on move-ins and ongoing engagement.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and Sunrise quality standards.
