Job summary

Legend Senior Living is seeking a Resident Care Coordinator to join our nursing team in Colorado. You will support clinical services such as resident medication management, service planning, and supervising the nursing staff to ensure residents receive excellent direct care.

You will participate in regular resident assessments, assist with move-in/move-out processes, and serve as lead supervisor in the Director’s absence.

Qualifications

• Required: State certification to pass medications.
• Required: Current CPR certification.
• Prefer: at least 1 year of experience passing medications.
• Prefer: previous experience supervising direct care staff, preferably in a senior living environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and training the nursing staff to ensure quality of care.
• Providing resident care when there are staffing needs, including on-call rotation.
• Completing the daily shift report and communicating changes or concerns to the appropriate staff.
• Verifying the proper distribution and required documentation of medication, treatments and orders.
• Participating in regular resident assessments and service planning, and following up with ancillary health care services as needed.
• Assisting with the move-in and move-out process including tours, orientation and family communication.
• Acting as the lead supervisor in the Director’s absence.
