Job summary

Mass General Brigham seeks a Lab Operations Manager to support the Ragon BSL3 core and research programs at The General Hospital Corporation. The role ensures smooth operation, oversees lab supply, training, budgeting, and collaboration with researchers and sponsors.

You will coordinate regulatory activities, manage scheduling, and contribute to strategic planning while ensuring biosafety and compliance across high-containment facilities.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required or Master's Degree Related Field of Study preferred.
• Experience: Research experience (in a lab setting) 3-5 years required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all lab supply and equipment, purchasing and maintenance.
• Coordinate regulatory and compliance activities.
• Train staff in specialized lab techniques.
• Assist with subject scheduling.
• Provide input on strategy based on industry knowledge.
• Apply project management techniques to keep initiatives on track.
• Contribute to scientific literature and may present data at meetings.
• Carry out independent research projects involving sophisticated techniques.
