Job summary

Charles River is seeking a Research Analyst II to lead and perform basic to moderately complex studies, providing mentorship to junior staff and ensuring GLP-compliant data collection and documentation. The role blends hands-on lab work with study coordination and procedural oversight.

You will coordinate study-related activities, manage timelines, review peer work for adherence, and contribute to protocol development while working with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a laboratory science or related discipline required.
• Two to four years related experience in biology, chemistry or related lab setting.
• Experience using MS/LC-MS equipment/techniques is helpful.
• Knowledge of GLPs and related federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead study coordination and oversee procedures.
• Review activities of peers to ensure adherence to study requirements.
• Prepare, conduct, and oversee technical activities for assigned studies.
• Manage timelines and resource coordination with supervisor.
• Document deviations and maintain study notebooks; assist in protocol development.
