Job summary

Charles River is seeking a Research Analyst I in Massachusetts to support bioanalytical studies of drug molecules across multiple matrices. The role is hands-on and collaborative, working closely with senior staff to deliver timely, high-quality data in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate will perform routine sample preparation, operate analytical instruments with guidance, and maintain accurate data records while prioritizing workload to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (B.S./B.A.) or equivalent in a scientific related discipline.
• Related laboratory experience preferred in pharmaceutical or contract laboratory environments.
• Equivalents in education/experience may be accepted.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and standard lab calculations.
• Proficiency with analytical instrumentation software.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform routine procedures for sample preparation.
• Ability to use analytical instrumentation with guidance from senior staff.
• Identify and report difficulties with sample preparation.
• Ensure raw data records are accurate, complete, and well organized.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
