Job summary

Total Safety is seeking a Lead Rescue Technician to provide technical rescue standby on customer projects, including confined space and rope rescue, first aid and CPR. You will assist in risk assessment, prep equipment, and plan practical safety solutions in line with client standards.

In case of an accident, you locate the patient, package for extrication, and hand over to EMS for care and transport. The role may involve supervising a crew and performing air quality monitoring, with daily ICS

Qualifications

Minimum 80 hour Rescue Technician certification and at least 1 year field experience.
CPR and First Aid with AED required; Haz-mat and ICS training preferred.
Familiar with OSHA atmosphere limitations and rescue operations.

Responsibilities

Provide technical rescue standby for customer projects (confined space and rope rescue).
Assess risks, prep rescue equipment, and plan solutions for safe work practices.
Location patient and package for extrication during accidents and hand over to EMS.
